It’s all about the rock!

And Wicked Sun is out to prove it! From Grand Funk to Seether, Led Zeppelin to Black Sabbath … along with a few surprises, Wicked Sun knows how to rock — and rock hard!

Formed by Frank Bottari (who formed the popular Top-40 band Company She Keeps in the early ’80′s), Wicked Sun aims to play those great classic and hard rock songs you forgot about (but wish you hadn’t!) in addition to a selection of hard rockers that are destined to become the next generation of classic rock tunes.

Our photo shoot with photographer Stan Freedman was a blast. He brought along four stunning models — Mary, Sara, Kitty and CJ — to distract you. They’re much better to look at than any of us. Here are some great behind-the-scenes shots take by Geren’s wife, Donna.

Finally! Our re-scheduled photo shoot is next weekend in old Ellicott City!

Photographer Stan Freedman will be the photog, and I know he’s planning on bringing a few of his models along as well. Look for the pictures to appear here on the site soon, along with a “behind the scenes” series to be taken by my wife, Donna.

Due to the recent spate of bad weather, we’ve pushed our photo shoot off a little bit — probably sometime in March now. We’ll keep you posted — and show you the pictures — as soon as we can.

Early last week, we met with area photographer Stan Freedman to see about getting some pictures done of the band. We had a great meeting, and Stan has some awesome ideas to help create our on line image. Right now, it looks as if we’ll be planning for our first photo shoot towards the end of February.

We’re all really excited to be working with Stan, and can’t wait to see the results!
